The last command that Jesus made before ascending back to heaven is recorded in Acts 1:8:

Regency Park Baptist Church takes this command seriously.

​

Internationally, we are currently partnering with Zion Baptist Church in Liepaja, Latvia. Our goals are to encourage the local church and share the gospel with the Latvian people. We are planning a return trip in August 2022. RPBC has also had teams traveling to Israel in the summer, partnering with Friends of Nazareth, by serving in their children's camps.

Nationally, RPBC just finished a 3-year partnership with Bent Knee Cowboy Church in Bonner Springs, KS, where we helped remodel their facilities and with Vacation Bible Schools. We are currently engaged in talking and praying with other churches and church plants in the Kansas City area about future partnerships.

Locally, we view the community around our church as our mission field. Our "Care Closet" distributes food and clothing to those in need. We also have annual block parties such as Pumpkin Patch, which we have as a Halloween alternative and our Easter Egg Hunt which is held the Saturday before Easter.

Several of our church members are active in serving on Southern Baptist Disaster Relief teams and have traveled to several states in order to serve others during times of natural disaster.
