Our goal is to develop disciples who make disciples. We do this by focusing on the 5 fundamentals of ministry: Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship, Service, and Evangelism.

We meet on Sundays at 9:30AM and 6:00PM, and on Wednesdays at 6:00PM.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

Mission Arlington // March 12-18th
$100

Mission Arlington is a week-long mission trip to Arlington, TX to serve with Mission Arlington, a long-standing ministry that serves the city by: receiving and distributing donations of food, furniture, and other goods; providing free dental and health services to those who need it; and by planting Bible studies strategically in local apartment complex's throughout the city.

We will partner with them to help do some or all of the following: Pick up, receive, or sort donations, deliver donations of goods/furniture to local apartment complexes, host backyard Bible clubs they call "Rainbow Express" for children in local apartment complexes, host block parties for children in local apartment complexes, etc. This list is not exhaustive and sometimes we do things that are outside the box, so come with a willing and flexible heart!

This trip is not for everyone. We require you to fill out an application that will be reviewed by Tod in conjunction with the other pastors and staff of the church. If it seems like you are not properly spiritually prepared for such a trip, we will discuss it, but know that it is not a "I signed up, so I'm going" type of a trip. While we DO spend a lot of time together in fellowship and we have a REALLY great time doing it, hanging out with your friends is not the primary goal of this trip. The primary goal is to partner with and promote the ministry of Christ through Mission Arlington, by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the people we serve. It's not about you. It's about others. We will have a ton of fun, but we will work really hard. If you'd like more information on Mission Arlington, visit missionarlington.org

Housing and Food Arrangements

Housing:

-We typically stay in a local church that is arranged by Mission Arlington. These are active churches that hold services on Sundays and Wednesdays, but allow us to stay in some of their classrooms during the week.

Food:

-They usually provide us with a kitchenette that we use to prepare and serve meals. We take food and griddles/hot plates/ crockpots/ etc. with us to cook many of our breakfasts and dinners at the church. Lunch, we do sack lunches. There will be 3 nights we eat out, and you will need to bring extra money for that. $10-15 per meal is a good number to plan for.
