The Sprout Update

Why "Sprouts"?
At Regency Park, our church logo is a tree, and our motto is "Love Grows Here."
The children in our nursery are just beginning their journey of faith. They’re not yet the mighty tree pictured in the logo, but tiny sprouts—full of potential and in need of love and care.
With intentional guidance, we help them begin to strengthen their roots and grow in the knowledge of God’s love. Our nursery is a place where seeds of faith are planted and nurtured, so each child can grow into the person God created them to be.
A sprout is the first step toward something strong and beautiful. That’s exactly what we hope for our preschoolers—that as they grow in our care, they’ll begin to understand God’s love and truth, and one day stand tall in their faith as mighty followers of Christ.

In the younger preschool class the kids learned about...
April 4th - The first Judges

Christ Connection: Like God sent Judges to help his people, He also sent Jesus to save us.
April 13th - Jesus' Triumphal Entry

Christ Connection: Jesus loved us so much that he died for our sins and came back to life. If we believe in him we can be forgiven and live with him forever.

In the older preschool class the kids learned about...
April 4th - God's letter to us, the Bible

April 13th - Jesus' Triumphal Entry

Average Preschooler's week

DID YOU KNOW...
If your child attends church on Sunday morning and evening, as well as Wednesday services, that's only 2.4% of their weekly time spent learning about God.
I say this to emphasize the importance of making time at home to continue their spiritual growth and study of the Bible.
Here are a list of easy ways to add a little more bible time into your little Sprouts day:
- Switch out Netflix for Right Now Media (ask the office about getting your free login)
- Discuss their bible lessons at meal times or when you are driving
- Work with them to memorize the kids monthly memory verse
- Instead of Disney songs or baby shark listen to the Good News guys on Youtube
- Ages 4 and up are learning the books of the bible in class, challenge the whole family to learn the books
Helper Highlight
Candy Robinson

This month, we're excited to shine a spotlight on Candy Robinson, one of our wonderful Younger Preschool teachers! Candy’s gentle and sweet nature makes her a favorite among the kids, and it's clear to see why. She brings such a warm and caring energy to the classroom, ensuring every child feels loved and valued.
Each week, Candy goes above and beyond to create fun and engaging crafts that help the children learn and grow while having a blast. Her creativity and dedication to making the class a special place for the kids never go unnoticed.
We are so grateful for the hard work Candy puts into making each lesson meaningful and memorable. Her love for the children and her passion for teaching truly shine through, and we are blessed to have her as part of our team!

The Jesus Storybook Bible
This series features short, gentle episodes—each approximately 5 minutes long—narrated by Sir David Suchet (Poirot), his calm and soothing British accent makes this a perfect bed/nap time show.
The episodes adapt the stories from Sally Lloyd-Jones's beloved children's Bible, presenting them in a manner that's both age-appropriate and engaging. The animation is designed to be low-stimulation, making it perfect for young children.
Every story—from Noah to Moses to the birth of Jesus—is told in a way that gently points back to God’s rescue plan through Christ, just like the book promises: “Every story whispers His name.”

Awesome Animals and Mini Me
"Discover more about YOU and the nature of God through His animal kingdom! Looking at a different animal per episode, come and explore how amazing it is, and what it can teach us about God and ourselves."
Each episode highlights a different animal and uses a mixed media format (Real footage and cartoons) to explore the amazing animals God made. I especially like that it uses common animals like chickens and geese, as well as more spectacular animals like elephants and kangaroos.
It is a fun animal show with biblical stories and lessons, crafts, sing-along songs, and interactive play-along games, all narrated by child voiceovers to resonate with little ones.

Monster Truck Adventures
If your child is a fan of Blaze and the Monster Machines, then this is a fantastic, faith-filled alternative that brings all the high-octane fun with an uplifting Christian message. This animated series features engaging storylines, colorful characters, and plenty of action—but what sets it apart is its intentional focus on teaching biblical values.
Each episode incorporates a clear moral lesson—like honesty, kindness, or perseverance—and ties it directly to Scripture. At the end of every episode, there's a thoughtful recap during the "Instant Replay" where the life lesson is reinforced and backed by a Bible verse. It's a great way to open the door to conversations with your kids about faith, character, and how to live out God's Word in everyday life.
Whether you're looking for wholesome screen time, a devotional tool for your little ones, or simply a fun show with positive messages, Monster Truck Adventures delivers with heart, horsepower, and a whole lot of faith.
